Jewellery Design
Company: Artisan & Fox
Project: Anniversary Collection
To celebrate 5 years of doing business, I worked on a small capsule collection to encompass the spirit of Artisan & Fox. A&F launched back in 2017, after founder Jaron had volunteered in Nepal in the wake of the 2015 earthquake.
The first collections released by Artisan & Fox were handmade by a team of silversmiths in Nepal. In a nod to our nostalgic first collections, we decided to work with a team of jewellers in Kathmandu to bring this collection to life.
Inspired by the brand story and travels around the world, I designed a series of handmade charms:
The fox tail stems from the fox in the A&F logo; a tribute to the wise fox in The Little Prince.
The sun charm is a nod to the sun on the Nepali flag; a symbol of fierce resolution.
And finally, the compass rose, inspired by our global journey to uncover makers and artisans, as well as a symbol of infinite possibility.
